Quote: | So how many of you bought Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds on XBox Live last week? And how many of you played it so much that you hit the maximum level of 50? Probably not a lot of you. But if you did, you can grab the new update for the game this week, as it boosts the level cap to 99. Oh, and it adds Kurisu Makise from Steins;Gate to the game. Perhaps that's more important. |
Next week, March 12th. And it's very easy to get at least one character to level 50 without thinking about it, so yes.

Sometimes I wonder if a pair of wild boobs killed Todd's parents.
Man that guy hates boobs.

I am one of the only few people who just did not like Darkstalkers at all.

Quote: | It opens about a year after the events of Macross Frontier, but the stage is the previously unseen planet of Uroboros. It's a world where some mysterious force pulls Macross characters across space and time, and that includes the leads of the original Macross, Macross Plus, Macross 7, Macross Zero, and Macross Frontier (don't ask about Macross II). |
Not sure if spoiler so I'll spoiler it just in case.
Fun fact regarding Frontier;
Brera is taken from Macross Frontier TV. He spends his time doing Valkyrie races and has actually developed quite the personality.
Grace, on the other hand, is taken from the movies.

So is it canon?

Sorry Todd, but Macrossover is mine. I mentioned it in a previous X Button, but I guess you don't bother actually reading the forum posts. XP

There you have it folks. The gaming world has officially turned stupid.

You know Japan, it has to be less than 17 years old for it to be considered moe enough to put on the cover of something. Older women...bother them for some reason.
Shining Ark: Not coming here, end of discussion. Moving on. -_-

Really need to order Macross 30 soon, was looking forward to it more than any game this year but unfortunately I just don't have the money at the moment.
Also want SK Shinobi Versus. Loved the first 2 on 3DS, they're great games when you look past the surface if you dislike it so much, I'm more than fine with it, love it in fact (same for the anime). Not willing to get a Vita just for one game though.

I'm not at all a fan of shameless product placement, but there always seems to be a heavily-negative tone around here when it comes to Musou games.....their last soda campaign where Lu Bu was drinking Pepsi was actually rather humorous.

Funny. One of the first product placements I remember seeing in a game was also for soda:

While there are instances where product placement is ridiculous, even when I was a kid, I loved seeing real world logos in video games. Adds to the "realism". Especially in racing games, where seeing logos like Champion Spark Plugs and Goodyear Tires adds a lot to the atmosphere.

That DLC is hardly the most egregious thing 7-up has ever done.
This is.

When TMNT 2: The arcade game came out the manual came with a coupon for Pizza Hut. Dynasty Warriors better do the same because I love 7-up.
