Time will tell on the pricing. Hopefully it will be the same as was done for Season 1 on DVD with a North American oriented release.

I'll be watching it on CR but I doubt it's gonna be cheap unless they release it on DVD like they did the first season. If it's a Blu-Ray release from Japan with subs like most of the stuff they do expect it to cost about what the first season BD set does if not much more.

Good. I expected them to get the second season. A $50-70 sub DVD release is probable IMO. Hopefully they do an in-house BD release below $150.

The simulcast will likely be at 13:00 EST/12:00 CST/11:00 MST/10:00 PST due to being in the same timeslot that Fate/Zero (both seasons), Nisemonogatari, Sword Art Online, and Oreshura are in. All four of those series were streamed around noon/13:00 EST on the same day as initial JP airing throughout the past 1.5 years, so that trend should hold for OreImo S2 as well. |

I wonder how much hate mail aniplex gets due to their outragous pricing?

I was hoping for the super rare chance that someone else would pick this up and sell it for a good price but I guess this will just be one I'll watch online and never own until a 75% off sale happens. |

Well, this is Exhibit A of Daisuki not being a big threat to Crunchyroll since Crunchyroll has got the stream and it likely is an hour behind the Japanese broadcast like Sword Art Online or OreShura. I suppose we'll eventually find out from Crunchyroll what the regional availability of it is, but based on previous shows in that timeslot, it will likely be Major English-speaking Countries.
Oreimo's DVD rerelease had a good price. I got it for $50. And PMMM had an affordable option($30 DVD singles that had 4 episodes). And those super-expensive BDs were imports that had to be at Japanese prices so those were aimed at those who already would have imported the series anyway. |

The proof they listen to fans is the Bakemonogatari commentaries being brought over and getting subtitles on the OreImo S1 commentaries for their import. They don't listen to "fans" who whine and complain their prices are too high since they'll never lower the price enough for them to make the same amount of profit, people continue to buy at their prices, and their shows are almost always available through streaming methods for free (negating the need to buy them to view unless you're in a rural area with poor internet service).

by the way, let's talk about the really important stuff like how we are likely to get 2nd cours full of Ruri fanservice. Yup, Ruri Gokou is the best character in this series, and I love that she will likely have more focus on her than the 1st season.
