Yeah, I have a lot of friends who aren't going to ACen this year because it's right before finals. I'm sure their attendance will be as high as always, but they kinda shot themselves in the foot setting the date when they did. |

Well it's not as if they have first choice of all dates at the Hyatt. They got what they could, it's not as if anime conventions are at the top of the list for things that a hotel can host. |

Good band. Real good band. Had the chance to see 'em at T.T. the Bear's; but had early class the next night. I still regret it.

I checked out their music and it sounds like a good band. ACen is hurting themselves with the date they planned it for. Most colleges' finals are right before or after ACen. I believe we will be sharing the Hyatt with a business convention of some sort. White collar business suit types walking around with cosplayers... a sight to smirk at. I believed they could have check for a weekend at the middle to end of May instead of the beginning, but who knows the hotel could have already been taken.

How is that band name pronounced? I get this weird feeling that I'm going to be tested over this.

Your finals are more important than a con.

I was at that show (and the one the night before at the Knitting Factory) - you missed a helluva show. TsuShiMaMiRe isn't my favorite band (I was there to see Ellegarden), but they're really nice and I took home a CD. |

Check out Tsushimamire (and others!) at the ITunes store:
http://www.sister.co.jp/english/index.html I have them on my IPod (from CD though). If you know what the hell they're singing (yelling) about (Japanese food and drinks sometimes) it's a lot of fun. I think they're on Itunes in the U.S. |
