I think the guy is sending threat letters to multaible to doujishi events and none will arrest him so this is the end of Doujishi in japan?

So what is the nature of these threats or have those details not been disclosed?

I don't see it, guys. Just because some Touhou event that nobody has ever heard of gets cancelled, y'all are saying it means the end of doujin circles in Japan? It's far too ingrained in the culture to go away overnight. Even if this were a worst case scenario - that for some reason both Reitaisai and Comiket up and went away - then you'd still probably see doujinshi being sold. It'd just be through other outlets. Where there is a market, there is a way.
By the way, do we even know the motivation behind the threats?

I'm confused, did Touhou receive threat letters too? I haven't heard any of this, only read about the Kurobas threats. Cause the way I read it, it's like they cancel a Touhou event because of the Kurobas threat letters...?

If I understand the Japanese press release right (and I may very well not have), the letters were to the event hall, not to the organizers of the event. I think the owners of the event hall are simply playing it safe.

I think logic is that the Kuroko guy is now spawning copycats. I Don't believe it myself, but police still haven't done anything, so...

It's guilt by being scheduled in the same month as Kuriko's Basketball. Future events are now going to have to check to see if Kuriko's Basketball is in the same vicinity as them and reschedule if they want to have their event.

The next doujinshi event that gets a threat like this should simply change the name of the event to "YOU MAY TAKE OUR LIVES, BUT YOU'LL NEVER TAKE OUR DOUJINS"

They should get cops to pose as fans, hold the event, and then ambush the motherfu-... erm, motherlover when he rears his ugly head. I mean, it should work. I doubt the guy has the resources to bomb the place.
