beck music question

i'm a big fan of the pillows, as i'm sure most of you are too, and im curious if the music to the beck anime was worth my time and money. i've only read the manga and the latest tokyopop vol. had a small interview with the band. it got me slightly interested, so anyway, would you reccomend the beck band to a pillows fan?

Hmm, well first off Pillows fan, the Pillows make a guest appearance in the last episodes of the anime so you might enjoy that little fact. They play Last Dinosaur.

Now if the music of the Pillows matches with the music of Beck, I'm gonna say no. Their sound while Chiba is singing is more akin to bands like 311 or Rage Against the Machine. If you like either one of those bands, then you'll definately love the majority of Beck's songs. Koyuki's songs are no slouches either so you might like those as well. I personally love the anime, the music, and the manga is really funny so I'd say give it a try.

i do like rage, not 311 as much. and i was already leaning towards getting this and now you've kind of pushed me over the edge.

where are you getting the pillows from? that was a beat crusaders interview who at least in my opinion is much better than the pillows.

He's a pillows fan who wants to know if Beck's (the bands not Beat Crusaders) music sounded similar. And read the my first thread too please.

Just saying it was a really random question. If huh? kept up by reading vol 3 like he said he did then he would know the band BECK has rap vocals.

And besides it's going to take Tokyopop forever to catch up on the releases of the manga so just download the anime.

i was current with the scanlations when the manga was licensed. i buy just because i want it in my collection.

i knew the band had rap vocals i was asking if it was good.
