Does he do things ONLY through Ghibli or has he done stuff not related to the aforementioned?

Did you try the encyclopedia? Here's the link, Hayao MIYAZAKI, it has all, I suppose, of the projects he's been a part of. I don't feel like looking through each one and checking to see if its under Ghibli, but I did see Lupin III Pt. II at the bottom of the list... I'm just guessing Ghibli had nothing to do with that, unless I'm wrong.

Yeah, he's worked on a few TV series and films prior to forming Studio Ghibli. Nausicaa.net has a listing of the productions he's been involved with: scroll down to see his non-Ghibli films.

hahaha, you called me jolie. uhm no, I just asked if they tried the encyclopedia. Unlike you though, I provided a link to it that might actually help them if they don't know how to use the encyclopedia. It took me a while to actually realize the kind of information that is on there. Oh well... atleast I hope the link helped. |

I know it's cool, I feel kinda bad for what i wrote to space-cowboy in the rurouni kenshin/cowboy bebop topic, but oh well, it's just a forum and we are here for fun... atleast I am.
Has anyone been watching Month of Miyazaki? They've only played Spirited Away as of now, but do you guys plan to? |

Okay, NOW I looked at it Joel.
That's a pretty good source right there. I knew that Miyazaki had done the Lupin film, but I didn't know that that was pre-Ghibli. |

Isao Takahata is a large creative force behind Studio Ghibli, although not as prevalent as Hayao Miyazaki. So not all Ghibli productions were films directed by Miyazaki-sama. The ones I'm particularly fond of are:
Omohide Poro Poro (Only Yesterday) and everyones favorite bundle of joy, Grave of the Fireflies. |
