Oh fudge, they have both halves of Intrigue in Bakumatsu on sale! Which I have already decided I will totally blind buy because Ryosuke Takahashi directed it! And they've got other stuff too....I won't rush into it, see what TRSI does to counter this first....I really need Princess Tutu on sale, I know my niece isn't even 1 yet, but I'd like to get a jump on things, lol

I got totally spoiled by some of the outrageous deals of last year, but of course, that was mostly because online retailers were obviously trying to get rid of their remaining ancient ADV sets. I guess I should re-adjust my expectations.

I am quite tempted by those prices for the Clannad Blu-rays. Definitely beats $60 per set.

Some of those deals are extremely tempting... Not sure if I'll take the bait again this year, though I do think it might be safer to order some of those sets this year since a lot of those deals are for some pretty recent releases.

Uhg.

Told myself last year that I'd never buy from this place again but...

Penguindrum is quite cheap. Laughing

No,No,No,No. Will not bite again, Must not suffer through their terrible service again. At least the prices aren't as irresistible as last year... Which also means not as many people will be ordering from them, Which should mean not as big as a clusterf*ck.

For all those of you who may be tempted by the DD prices, I'd hang in and see what TRSI is going to do. You may see some of the same titles pop up at roughly the same price without having to deal with DD's sometimes wonky "service."

Hmm, depending on Rightstuf's T-1 sales. I'm looking at getting Someday's Dreamers II: Sora, DMC, Croisee, and A-Channel from DeepDiscount. Not bad, though certainly it doesn't come close to the insane prices from last year.

I have a feeling we'll only see prices like that once every five years or so. I think it only happens when inventory has been around for a number of years and online retailers just want to get rid of it.

Yeah, these are good deals, but I'm waiting to see what TRSI brings us tomorrow. I much prefer buying from them, but these prices are too tempting to pass up if they're not bringing similar deals.

I rather pay a little bit more during the next Sentai sale or in the xmas sales than having to deal with DD.
