OMG yay!!!!!!! Guess she was just too focused with Host Club to resume Millennium Snow and now that HC is over she can finally continue this series. Really hope Viz/Shojo Beat will continue distributing it.

Awesome! She's improved a lot over the last ten years so I'm sure this series will come back better than ever^^

Looking forward to it, hopefully it'll continue to be released in the US. I can't really remember all the finer details, but since it's just two volumes so far it'll be easy enough to catch up on.

FINALLY.
My friends use to say, "I'm a fan of Ouran!" and I'd reply, "Well, I love Millennium Snow..." and they'd just look at me weirdly. THIS MANGA ROCKS AND I AM SO GLAD IT IS COMING BACK! I have the first two volumes in English, and you can bet your bottom OR top dollar I will be buying the Japanese volumes and the magazine as it comes out!

No it's not - the two projects are comparable, as Viz properties with a really long hiatus in Japan.

Descendants of Darkness and Millennium Snow = Two completely different franchises. Hence me saying slightly off topic.

Finally, a Vampire/Werewolf/Human Girl love triangle I can get behind! I really enjoyed Millennium Snow because Hatori can balance humor with more serious (or "emo") romantic and vampire tropes well. I got bored with Ouran when I felt the romantic/shojo tropes (and possibly need to extend the series) overtook the humor and parody aspects that made the first few volumes so fun.
I really hope she continues Snow with more humor than the latter volumes of Ouran. But no matter how she handles the material, I'm stoked that she's honoring her promise to her readers and continuing a story she easily could have left by the wayside.
What would be a good shojo manga version of the Community (sitcom) mantra "Six seasons and a movie?"
"Sixteen volumes and an anime!"

Awesome news! This is one of the only few shojo titles I own.

OMG I'm so happy. I read that manga a year or two ago, and when I found out it was on hiatus forever, I went "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
Wow feels almost like a miracle. Usually when the hiatus is over a year, it's because it'll never finish...
Thumbs up to Hatori!!
