I'll wait for the anime version that doesn't involve spoiler[sticking your dick in your daughter].

Christ, would it kill people to not spoil Usagi Drop at every opportunity?

Nor does the manga version. Did the people not read the part where it is told that spoiler[Rin was never related to Daikichi by blood?] Read/watch the series properly before mentioning all these talk about taboo, etc. Their relationships are nothing much different from something like Dick Van Dyke's recent relationship with his make up artist (over 40+ age difference) |

Okay, okay, okay...spoiler[Look, that totally undermines the relationship between adoptive children and their parents. "They're not related by blood, so he's not the real parent." Yes, yes, apparently Rin doesn't see Daikichi has her father and vice versa, but the entire series was built upon a single man parenting an unwanted child. Pre-time skip, anyway. We were lead to believe that was what it was about, people and reviewers commented on it, and many enjoyed the aspect of emotional bonds trumping genetics. It's not about age differences here.] That's all I'll say, especially because this is pretty off-topic. People can defend it all they want. I just hate the way people go about defending the series. It can be fairly offensive to those who have family bonds with people aren't directly blood-related. I just want people to mold their arguments so it doesn't all rest of blood. |

I sure hope Unita's new manga will be just as earnest as Bunny Drop was, with all of its sweetness and bitterness. I wonder what it will be about...
And I hate to add onto the discussion incited by trollish behavior, but perhaps this blog post could help with lessening the disgusted feeling people get from Bunny Drop's ending (THE BLOG POST IS SPECIFICALLY ABOUT THE ENDING AND WHAT LED TO IT, SO OBVIOUS SPOILER ALERT): http://listlessink.wordpress.com/2011/12/20/life-love-and-things-in-between-an-usagi-drop-approach/ |

Manga Life Original is a strip manga magazine, by the way.

Oh? Huh, I've never heard of Umita doing strips. (Then again, the only thing I know from her is Bunny Drop.) In that case, hopefully the comic will be comfortable work for her. |
