Does anybody Know if the Domestic Inuyasha DVDs not import realeased UNCUT or not?

Dude, there's not even an edited version. All Adult Swim did was take out some nipples in the first episode. That's it. The DVDs are most definitely uncut.

I don't know about you starwind...but "taking out" something(nipples for arguements sakes)sure as heck sound like editing to me but I'm pretty positive the DVD are unedited the chances of them being edited are extremely low. |

When I say "edited version", I mean a hacked-up, butchered version of an anime, ala anything from 4Kids. Doing a simple paint edit in one episode does not make an edited version. |

Very true. But the, slightly, edited version of InuYasha doesn't exist on the DVDs. It's all uncut. |

I cant believe you guys are arguing over that. I think he meant if its edited like the run time and blood scenes. Think DBZ. The DVDs are unedited so get all the first episode nipple action you want. edit

Actually, if you want to get technical, there are also edited, English dub only versions of DBZ on DVD, but I believe that just applies to the movies. |

I dont think you understood. I meant think DBZ to the previous sentence about the edits to to blood scenes and run time. I was just pointing out that DMu7434680 wanted to know if Inuyasha was edited like DBZ is. |

Wait a minute, their was some nipples in Inuyasha? I thought I read somewhere that Rumiko Takahashi said she didn't want any fan service in her titles. That was always my explination for Kagome's skirt constantly defing the laws of physics.

Oh, so you meant the TV broadcast was edited and not the DVDs? If that's the case, then I forget my silly reference  .
I guess you haven't seen Ranma ½, then. I don't recall any actual nudity in IY, but there's plenty of fanservice in Ranma. |

Actually, I don't remember correctly but I think the Centipede woman didn't have nipples in the Japanese version either. In the manga she did, but I have the artbook, and the anime production sketches of the Centipede woman don't have any nipples. And as for the thing about no fanservice in Inu-Yasha, actually, there was a little sidenote next to a Kagome sketch that said, "Please do not show Kagome's panties, no matter how intense the action," or something like that.
