YES

I might be able to afford the KnK boxset now.

Aniplex, I am proud of you. Although, I'm still afraid of the pricing of these rereleases.

It's nice to see this happening for Garden of Sinners.

I'm still hoping for a normal person priced Blu-Ray set sometime in the future (...five years from now or whatever I guess...), but yes, this is nice.

Sounds like Aniplex USA will be stealing the show this week-end, these announcements will be pretty tough to top. I already own the KnK BD-Box but I'm very glad it's going to be more widely available.

Now THAT's more like it, Aniplex!! These needed a wider release, particularly Kara no Kyokai. Like a previous comment mentioned, we'll see how the pricing turns out. (For KnK, anyway. I'm not concerned with Oreimo's price.)

Lack of Oreimo on Blu-Ray is a bit disconcerting, but I don't care for the show that much anyway.

This, coupled with Bakemonogatari, makes their showing pretty damn good.

The fact remaining questions is are they gonna digital download release of the dub later on when buying the whole boxset.

Considering the eventual pricing for KnK, there's already a (probably similar) boxset released by Kaze France, with a MSRP of 80 Euros. So yeah, it's probably safe to assume that these will go for at least 100$ (MSRP). Which I think is perfectly fair, btw. These are some top quality movies that deserves quality releases.

Garden of Sinners being a DVD only release dosen't suprise me. We will definitely see the price for the re-release in the 80-100 dollar range more then likely. Which may seem like alot still to some but the movies are simply worth it.

Wow, I feel sorry for people who got lied to by Aniplex that the boxset was gonna be an LE. They got conned. That's why you don't let anime companies charge R2 prices on you like that.

I think that says a lot about the sad state of anime.

I'm certainly interested in Garden of Sinners, but I had put aside the question of whether I was interested enough to buy it because the cost of the original release was absurd.

I'm not surprised that it won't have an English dub, and I can't really complain, but I would've liked one; this seems like something I would really enjoy watching late at night when I'm in that strange state of not being tired enough to go to bed, but being just far away enough from awake that the world makes a slightly different kind of sense and I don't much feel like reading.

If the price isn't too wrong, I might well buy it.

I think that I can do without OreImo.

Out of curiosity, why aren't they releasing Garden of Sinners on Bluray? Is it because they're hoping to have people buy the DVD and then a few years down the road pay for a Bluray release? Is it because they don't want to anger the people who bought the Limited Edition release? Or is it because they don't want to encourage people from Japan to import the Bluray and hurt their Japanese market? Just wondering...
