Hey I was wondering if there are any NBT Fans out there? I just got the dvds this past weekend and finished them today. I thought it was a pretty fun anime across the board I reccomend it highly, However as for the ending spoiler[I really hoped for a better ending then what I was given It wasn't explained to well either .. A Duel between the heros..] I am curious if anyone else felt differently about the ending or had any other views on the anime.

I enjoyed the ending and I thought it was fitting in its own way. It's been a long time since I watched the show though. I liked it though. It was fun and despite its rampant panty shots it had a pretty solid story so I didn't feel too guilty for watching it.

I thought that NBT was a pretty decent series, but a series I felt that ended without realizing its true potential. Despite all of the rampant panty shots that are the series' trademark, NBT is one of the few fan service-laided anime series IMO that actually has a good story. NBT was the series that made me an instant Kira Vincent-Davis fan due to her very sultry portrayal of the lead character Najica.

It was an okay series, entertaining enough, but nothing outstanding. I didn't really like the ending either it could have been executed better.

I thoght it was good i wodn't watch it again but i thought it had a good ending i thought it was cute whenspoiler[Leila wanted to take care of Alpha] and the ending probley was one of my favorite ending songs (i love Jazz) and the dub was awsome I love kira as Najica.

Didn't the Najica Blitz Tactics Boxset or was it a special edition case? that came with a pair of Najica Blitz Tactics Panties? I remember seeing boxset with a pair of panties on top of it but yeah that helps emphasize on the panties side of the show.

The special limited edition panties came with Vol. 1 plus the artbox when it was first released back in August of 2003. The thinpak does not have the panties. |

...and it's quite an improvement if I do say so myself. I mean what would the target audience of the show, guys like myself, do with a pair of women's underwear? Nevermind I don't think I even want to know.

Good question. I just viewed it as a gimmick ADV did in honor of the show's trademark.

I thought for an OVA the ending was done as well as it could be, anything else and there would have to be more episodes in it. For what it's worth I found the ending quite appropriate. As for the original box set (Yeah I bought it.) It did come with a pair of panties with it, perfect marketing!!!
 One of my favorites (along with the anime itself) is the commentary on disc 2 with Andy McGavin and Mike Klienhenz, that's a RIOT!!

NBT's not an OVA; it was a TV series. The series aired in Japan from October 4 to December 27 of 2001. BTW, David Williams wrote something called the "Najica Panty Diaries" in the Najica fansite, which was basically a log of the Najica project. It also containes images of the ADV staffers that worked on the series (some of them did wore the panties for fun! ).

Though it is of course, open for individual interpretation, I thought the ending was a good one. Najica, I felt, really had no one to blame for Lila's actions in the the end but herself. Najica's imprint on Lila was quite evident after Lila independently encountered Alpha. Lila had finally graduated, and that is why Najica had that knowing kind of smile near the end. Overall, this was a sneaky series that may draw you in for one reason, but keeps you around for another. I loved the English cast, and, as was stated above, the Kleinhenz/McAvin commentary in disc two was pure irreverent fun.

Well despite my not likeing the ending, NBT is the anime that got me out of my Dark Anime Depression if there is such a thing lol. So thank you NBT
