...gee the set-up is old as the hills "blue seed comes to mind" but i will like to see it... It's all about the execution of the IP..Anyhow I am amazed that cr is announcing stuff so soon.

They certainly take the pole position for this season. I doubt they may ever beat Funimation's record for Last Exile - Fam, however (announced as licensed for simulcast in the summer, started in the fall). I am confident this one was announced now only because CR obtained the right to show the first episode at the same time people in Japan will get to see it. To the best of my knowledge, that is a first. There have been numerous other series that had early airings, but none I recall which were simulcast at that time. I predict we'll see messages in the comments for the series a week later asking where the next episode is.

Why would it be better? I like it this way, and its refreshing to have a woman be the lead. I think a lot more anime should be this way. |
