I'm thinking of starting a new manga series and I want people opinions and recomendations....
The 2 leading candidates are Angel Sanctuary and Full Moon wo Sagashite Thanks in advance

Well, since your avatar is from God Child, you seem to already have some exposure to Yuki Kaori's works. If you really like her style, you might want to check out Angel Sanctuary.
On the other hand, I've read Fullmoon O Sagashite, and it was one of the few (it might be the only) shoujo titles I really liked. I enjoyed titles like Godchild, but Fullmoon is a really excellent manga. Both titles have really good art, but I kinda liked Fullmoon's style better. I'm not sure why, because the huge eyes still get to me sometimes. Fullmoon is a mixture between comedy and drama, but there are also some really emotional moments. I would personally recommend Fullmoon, but I haven't read Angel Sanctuary. There is a strong emphasis on the characters in Fullmoon, and I really don't see anything lacking in the series. It's catching as soon as you start reading too, so you don't have to wait until volume x for it to get interesting. I hope this helped. Sorry for the hasty post. |

It may not be related to anything that you have in mind but I recommend Galaxy Angel. Its based on the game instead of the anime so it actually has a plot. It has really nice artwork (I even have the latest Kanan artbook (Jpn)). The story is fun with some romance and its only 5 Volumes if Beta is not a sequel.
Another manga would be Pita Ten. Its cute and its sweet. It has romance with it aswell. Can give wet eyes  .
I have like 35 English manga and I regret buying some of them (Warcraft, Vaizard, Behind the Sword). ahahaha owell, although it costs a bit to buy them in Hong Kong. |

Gy the way, Gemini Angel, what types of manga do you like? Angel Sanctuary is darker than Fullmoon, and they are sorta like opposites.
