Oh, yes, Cartoon Network stinks. Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, Paranoia Agent, Samurai Champloo and Dragonball Z Uncut are all worthless anime. Yes, let's boycott Cartoon Network until they bring back Hamtaro and Zoids.

Ummm.....I started watching anime when I was, like, 6 or 7 (about 7 years ago). Me and my older brother rented anime from BlockBuster, but we didn't know about the ratings, so.....We picked any at random....^ ^; *remembers Devil Hunter Yoko*

When I was a sophomore in HS, in spring break of 1998 I watched Ghost in the Shell and Akira with a few friends.
Ghost in the Shell was so damn good, I think that after that I was hooked on Anime for life.
Akira made me fall asleep. Fortunately the Manga for Akira is really good, and I recently read that.

I really started getting into it after watching Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing, and Tenchi Universe on Toonami so that would be about '96 or '97 I think. I was 13 or 14 and sat down with my little brother to see why he was so DBZ crazy and ended up being hooked as they were running a marithon. Then we switched to satelite television and I was able to get the Encore Action Channel and see great stuff like Blue Seed, Bubblegum Crisis, Ghost in the Shell, and Hellsing.
Now I'm almost 23 and have seen nearly two hundred titles.

about seven years ago when I was 14, rising 9th grader, and I watched pokemon a bit. The REAL anime move came when I was 16 and a rising junior, and was totally hooked on Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star, and Digimon. That was before we got a dvd player and I started collecting dvds and really expanding my anime base.

I started watching anime when I was around 4 years old, so about, wow, 12 years ago! I watched a lot of Dragonball and Sailor Moon, but I had no idea that it was anime. I guess I didn't really start looking at other genres or animes until I was 13. I had no idea there was so many animes out there.

For the most part I wasn't really aware that much of anime until 3 years ago. All I really knew of anime up until then was what aired on Network TV.
Now, 3 years later, I own 100+ DVDs, and seen well over 150 series/movies/OVAs.

It all started with my dads obsession with Robotech.
