I entered!
This e-mail notification thing, is that something new? Cause ANN never sent e-mails to contestants to inform them of the results in the contests I've entered before.

I think it's meant to say "Winners will be contacted...", not "Entrants"

I've had to put Unicorn on the backburner until recently. I asked for volume 3 for Christmas, but it would be neat to get volume 4, too.

You asked for it for Christmas? Just how old are you? I always pictured you as being somewhere in the mid-twenties to early thirties range, what with you having watched quite a few old-school Anime and your love of the Japanese version of Dragonball Z.

^ I still asked for stuff for Christmas (two things only) and I am twenty six. So I see nothing wrong with PT asking for something for Christmas.

Nope. All entrants will receive an e-mail. Either "Congrats, you won," or "Sorry, you didn't win."
Yes it's something new, not all our contests will be done this way, but some will.

My grandparents still get my parents things for Christmas and my parents are in there 50s and 60s. My mom still asks me what I want for Christmas every year and I'm almost 30, and if I told her I didn't want any thing I guarantee she would get me something anyway. I don't really see what age has to do with receiving Christmas presents.

I'm 28. Maybe I'm spoiled.

My family is similar. My parents tried to get my aunts and uncles to stop, but everyone still likes the tradition of placing presents under the Christmas tree and having the "kids" (me, who's 25, my sister, who's 23, and my cousins) hand out all of the gifts to everyone. Both sides of the family still do this (once the grandmothers on either side pass away I imagine it'll stop).
And then of course there's always the Christmas gifts exchanged between my mom, dad, and sister.

Some of us are broke(or close to it), and will come up with any way to get something.

The responses have certainly been interesting and eye opening.
My grandparents still insist on giving me a bit of cash for birthdays and Christmas, but I don't ask for it. I still accept it though; I'm not that principled (to refuse it).
