I swear, if people say Ikki Tousen is good, then Tenjo Tenge must be godly. Because TenTen does own Ikki in terms of plot (a pretty sad plot too, I might add), action scenes (at least the character's clothes in Tenten didn't exploded in every scene). BTW: reviews are based on a opinion of the writer, and since people's opinion differs, one must realize that what one person like doesn't mean everyone must love it. And as long as its a opinion with logical evidence that backed it up, then its a good review, either it's positive or negative. So if someone don't like negative review, just go to communist nation, since there will never be any negative review on anything.

If JusticeGundam is reading this: Please edit the quotes - 1 or 2 lines are generally enough.
As for Ikki and it's portrayal of women: It's great - These girls don't go and hide in a corner while the Men fight; these girls take on the men and win, often while having an orgasm (at least they do in the Manga!) JBV^_^ |

You act like it's the first anime to do this, when there are tons out there that already do it and do it well. And unlike those series, it seems to me Ikkitousen is just using the fights for cheap thrills and excuses to have the girls clothing ripped off. Honestly I don't think they cared who won the fights, as long as they managed to cram as much t&a in as possible. It's portrayal of women is despicable. It acts like they are nothing more then objects to be leered at. |
