I finally broke down and got my home internet reinstalled, so one of the first things I did was go sniff out J-List.
Oh man; if they sold groceries and had a storefront in town, I'd never have to shop anywhere else.
Not to give them free advertising, but after all my little japes I thought Tempest would want to know.

lol. The folks at J-List probably all know me by name. I've spent at least $2000 there. They're nice people with great variety of products.

Sis has made friends with the UPS man by now. And you didn't like the wallet! It's cute, and not full of holes like the one you have, dude. I told you to take my army-ish one, but noooo. Der.
But J-list is cool. I like to look at the newspaper they use as stuffing.

Does anyone find it funny that J List is the only porn site keeping most of the internet working?

*confuzzled by that statement* BTW, ignor Ho-T. She sees nothing wrong with carrying on convos no one can understand But it is true that I'm friends with my UPS guy. He comes here like once a week between J-List and my ordering food for my chins

I haven't found the need to order from them for a few years. But I DO enjoy the weekly mass emails that Peter Payne sends out. They contain tons of useful information on Japanese culture, and I've learned a lot from them.

what's funny is that the entire e-mail is structured like a typical japanese business letter (from the few examples i've seen).. in that they start by discussing something -totally- unrelated to business at hand... and then, after a paragraph or two, delve into the actual topic.

It's probably unusual from your perspective. but after getting these emails for the last few years (I've got over 300 of them saved in various yahoo acctounts), I got used to it.
As I said, you can learn a lot about Japanese culture from the emails, because Peter is able to keep the "American" perspective even while living in Japan.

I checked out Jlist last night seeing if they had any posters of the JGTC girls. Unfortunately, they only had books when I ran a search, and those books only had pictures of the girls. Not that that is a bad thing, but c'mon, what is better then a cute girl? A cute girl standing next to a Skyline, of course!!
Onto HO-T's sis investing in J-list, I'm kind of the same way with Anime Nation. Although I don't know the UPS guy who drops my stuff off, because I'm never home when he/she drops my stuff off.
