It was really nice getting their backstories and creative history and how that informed their approach to the adaption, as well as their collaboration with the author.

Also who better to handle screenwriting than the writer of Tsuki Ga Kirei?

This anime seriously needs a English Dub… it’s the only thing I am waiting on to really sink my teeth in after 2 episodes of the Japanese VO…

I've really enjoyed Blue Box both as a manga and as an anime. I've been in clubs while attending U.S. schools, but there are unique traits to each country's way of utilizing clubs.

I can't agree more about the sound. The moment those "sports sounds" (i.e basketball bouncing, sneakers squeaking, shuttlecock hit by a racket, etc) definitely brought back some feelings associated to memories. (been out of high school 21 years already!)

When I was in Japan a few months, I went out of my way to pick up a couple volumes of Blue Box, 2 Shounen Jump editions with Blue Box as the main cover art and some small merch I can carry back (even found some Gachapon Blue Box items!).

It's getting one, they just haven't started streaming it yet.
