Tell me about this Kenshin DVD, please. Is it the TV series? And if so, does it have more than 4 or 5 episodes with Chinese/English subtitles? Because to my knowledge, if it's an actual import from somewhere in Asia, it should be either a Region 2 or Region 3 coding.

It was marked as New, but when I opened it, the coloring on the dvd label was seriously faded and i know that normal dvds don't fade like that. also when you look at the label, you could stt the white edge from where it was put on the dvd.

Hmm. Tell me about the content of the DVD, please. Was the quality somewhat fuzzier than you'd expect? Was Japanese and English audio? What kind of subtitles does it have?

This is a test to see if the website comes up as a known bootleg seller.
http://www.[this site sells bootlegs] Guess it's not a known bootlegger. Did you purchase it online or from a "brick & mortar" store? |

Wow. Now that I've seen the site, it looks legit. Guess that solves the problem...

Yes, it does appear to be legit in some cases.. however, the "imports" that I ran across are region free. Also, unless I am blind, they are not selling any Kenshin import dvds, they were all R1 releases that I saw.

Oh god, Pandora's Cube is one of the worst! They not only sell Bootlegs, but in the past they've sold fansubs, and consistently piss off the Otakon AMV staff by selling the contest tapes. They were actually taking preorders on this year's competition tapes months before the con.

Well.. I trust what Emerje says.. so I would stay away from them in the future.

Yeah, I'm quite aware of that.. but on the site itself, I don't see any boots for sale. I hadn't heard about them duping DVDs and selling them, though. Should they be added to the blocked list? |

I think they should be added. Even though they don't sell that stuff on their site (though they do sell bootlegs) they do sell them in store which should be reason enough not to support them.
