She's the one that dropped voice acting to try to do mainstream work. I thought she didn't care about VA anymore? Does she want to come back or something?

That's the life of an idol. She's like a doll. And if even a single lace is misplaced, a shitstorm passes by. Then again, even in the idol world filled with jackasses and lifeless perverted radicals, she's something of a rebel that just tends to do whatever she wants. You have to at least give her props for that. |

I think she mentioned she didn't want to do VA work while I believe she was going to appear on stage in a production of "Wuthering Heights" I could be wrong.

Wasn't there something of a kerfluffle not too long ago amongst her Japanese fans when it was revealed she was dating somebody? (Naturally, if she's dating somebody that cancels out the .00000001% chance she'll stumble onto a fan in the street and it shall be Twu Luv instantly.) I remember reading it being thought she was backing off VA works and doing more live-action stuff while people's memories faded a little or she simply came to the conclusion that them otakus be crazy. |

I have some of her CDs, a couple of photobooks and a couple of idol DVDs. I stopped getting them when I realised I was only really interested in her voice, not her looks, and tended to skip most of her non-anime music when it came up on my player. I wish she would return to being a regular seiyuu, although there are plenty of new talented voices around and the last new role of hers I cared about was Chiko in 2008. I wonder if she will be returning for Kizumonogatari given that her character didn't actually speak in Bakemonogatari anyway?

I remember hearing something about that too. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that is what keeping her from doing VA work. Those radical Japanese Otaku really need to remove that stick out of their asses. |

...I'd wager most, if not all we see her do she was simply told to by her management. I doubt she has much freedom at all (not counting her private life), else she wouldn't be acting disappointed/unhappy on twitter about being "banned" from playing new anime roles. |

Wow, she is so full of it. All she is doing is trying to get more attention and rebel without a cause. SHE is the one who decided to pursue other ventures while insulting her anime fans in the process. Knowing the consequences, SHE is the one who chose this path. I am so sick and tired of her antics.
