I would think that if one enjoyed Chibi Vampire, one may enjoy this title regardless, since both are from the same author. Worked for me, anyhow.

I hate how reviewers just slab on letters for artwork.

I love xxxHOLiC and X, but I think Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles is a total mess. I love Blade of the Immortal, but think Ohikkoshi was only okay. Or moving out of manga, I loved The Shining but could never get into The Dark Tower books.

Liking one work by a creator does not guarantee liking all of their others.

For me, when it comes to any author or filmmaker or what have you, I may like a couple of their titles more than others, if not so much flatout dislike said other titles. I've had exceptions, but they're rare (Princess Mononoke is the only Miyazaki film I've ever disliked, for instance).

Awww, this series seemed promising and I was planning to buy it, but I think I'll wait till the release and review of volume 3 before committing Anime cry

That was a little harsh, I've unexpectedly enjoyed this series so far. I think the artwork is just fine, better than alot of manga I've read and nowhere near a detriment. Its the 2nd volume, of course its time to introduce all kinds of side characters and background info, thats par for the manga course after you set up the exciting premise in volume 1. And its still funny and unique, I mean how many heroines do you see who prefer to make nests out of cardboard boxes instead of sleeping in a bed lol.
