I can't say it enough: God bless those people.
Talk about "Crowning Moment of Awesome" and "Crowning Moment of Heartwarming" for Japan. It just warms my heart to think that there are so many good people out there. |

I told you all that other characters would be popping up, but Haruhi, Rei, and Shin were surprises to me. I'm still hoping this movement will reach other parts of the world.

See, this when I like anonymous. It's good to see something go viral for once that actually helps people.
If it happened in the states, we'd get a 10 minute segment on Fox news about encouraging socialism. |

In the states packages would have to be inspected by the bomb squad first.

I am reminded by all of this that human behavior is viral. To spread "good" just, you know, act good.
We have a choice every day to do something nice. If we all took those chances and did the nice thing, the good thing, the caring thing, it would spread. Now, here's the thing - can we spread the "Tiger Mask" movement to America? There are tons of shelters full of kids for whom a new backpack and some school supplies could mean a difference. I'm going to go out today, to drop some food off at a food bank and take myself out shopping tonight to pick up some backpacks, fill them with some school supplies and drop them off at a local Salvation Army. If everyone who reads this post does the same, there'll be a few less unhappy people in the world. We can all do one good thing a day. |

Rather than having boring letters that nobody reads on donation containers, we should mass-produce moe donation containers to attract younger people.
Moe characters should be saying: "I'm hungry." "I need clothes." "I need a home." "Will you help me study?" "Will you feed my pet?" "I'm feeling ill." "One kiss for £1", because come on, we need to abuse the sexual appeal. |

These in combination might make for some misunderstandings. (And possibly the plot of a zany fanservice anime?) These stories have been the coolest things I've ever read here. |

That's the whole point of moe charity boxes. Actually, that's the whole point of moe itself. |

This...this is just so completely awesome...
I wish I knew where there was an orphanage or something near me. And I also wish I could convince my mom to take me there and let me leave anonymous bags outside the front door. o_O Meh, I'll find a way. But who should I sign it as? Euphemia li Britannia? Tohru Honda? The Red Whirlwind? (Actually, the Red Whirlwind could totally work...hmm...) |
