I'm disgusted by the price, but I want this really bad. Guess I'll have to save my money -_-....

I could buy this or I could buy a new I-Pod touch. It's not exactly a comparison.

Somebody give John Casey a pat on the back for calling this, guess we'd better see what the little Aniplex USA ad says in the future.
I'm not buying this because I haven't seen it yet but I don't know if Netflix or anywhere else is going to spend nearly $400 for a single set, could be a while before I do end up seeing it.

The Final Chapter is different from the earlier Remix - Gate of Seventh Heaven-. The 30-minute Final Chapter will have all-new material. Like the Japanese version, the English Blu-ray Box will have both the Final Chapter and the Remix - Gate of Seventh Heaven-.

Its great that Kara no Kyouka will finally be available here in the states but with good news comes the reality of how truly expensive the Blu-Ray Box set is and no english dub either..I'm going to keep my eye on this maybe buy it when it goes on sale..now only if Aniplex would release Bakemonogatari soon.

With prices like that I sure as hell hope some company other than Aniplex licenses Bakemonogatari.

You're basically paying for the import without paying international shipping. TRSI even has it listed as an import.

As of today, it's only 50 bucks cheaper than it is on the Amazon Japan site, and the listed msrp on both sites is pretty much the same. So yeah, Aniplex is pretty much off their rocker at this point.

The price isn't what disappoints me (although in this case it would be great if they offered a payment plan option), but that it seems it'll be blu-ray only. Since I won't have a blu-ray player any time soon, it's too bad that I'll likewise won't be seeing this Type-Moon film series any time soon (I don't even know if it'll play on my computer). If by chance Aniplex releases Welcome to the Space Show here I sure hope they don't do the same thing.
