I read a couple chapters, and it was pretty good. Didn't know it was licensed. Anyone that likes this should definitely check out "Homunculus", as The writing is a lot deeper.

Furuya's art has gotten a lot better over the years. I have an artbook by him that features a lot of his older work, and a lot of his characters either looked exactly the same or had a generic feel to them. It's pretty cool how he tries to go more out of the box with his series now. (although most of those are also his creepier series...)
