I don't want to alarm anyone, but there may be an answerman... or answermen in this podcast!

Brian Hanson pinch-hits as co-host this week and the result is a first segment that's mostly about sketch comedy and summer movies rather than anime, because Zac has poor impulse control. Which is fine if you're a movie nerd, right? Iron Man 2, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Inception (plus The Human Centipede!) are all discussed and then we do finally move on to chat about anime a little bit, including Birdy the Mighty: Decode and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on bluray, and then Brian talks a bit about his experiences taking over Answerman.

Then we're off to the races with Erin 'n Noah from the Ninja Consultants podcast! Erin talks about Shelf Life and the sheer amount of Dragon Ball Z she has to watch every week, and then - again, poor impulse control plus a show full of movie nerds - we get on the one-way train to pretentiousville and talk about being film students! HOORAY!

Up next is David Cabrera who now writes Astro Toy; David chats about his experiences with the column, his life as a collector and his blog over at Subatomicbrainfreeze as well as his writing at Colony Drop, and what new shows have caught his eye this season. Then finally we sit down with man of mystery and longtime staff critic Theron Martin, who goes over his reviewing philosophy, his history with the site, and the ending of Battlestar Galactica. Nerdiest podcast ever? You be the judge!!
