Angel's Egg (movie) Excellent Simply amazing. A dark world of dreams and shadows is the stage of a surrealistic mystery movie.
Aquarion (TV) Decent Only decent. Hard to find a single thing that has not been seen elsewhere before.
Arcadia of My Youth (movie) Excellent
Area 88 (OAV) Excellent Epic. Not uncommon story, but stunning final.

Basilisk (TV) Very good Ninja Scroll setting and a Love&Death story. Final is a priori known, but before is reached there are several moments of true, sad, involvement.

Berserk (TV 1997) Very good By now, a classic of fantasy. A gloomy and bloody tale of violence and vengeance.
Black Lagoon (TV) Good Videogame-pirates lost in an action movie. Spaghetti-western and Bruce Li complete the references.
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV) Very good Last six episodes alone can be considered a masterpiece. The rest is taken to the extreme, either if good or weak.
Blue Gender (TV) Not really good
Blue Submarine No.6 (OAV) Good An experiment.

Escaflowne: The Movie Good Grim and bloody, a completely different point of view on Gaea's stories. And the Escaflowne seems even more powerful.
