Unfortunately, this movie was completely unnecessary because all it did was recap the TV series in Cliff Notes-style and threw a half-hour teaser for the REAL movie in at the end. They should have just went straight to releasing EoE and skipped this. |

Wow. Just wow. A series that matches -- and in several ways exceeds -- the expectations placed upon the cerebral mecha genre by Evangelion. It's a love story, a mecha series, and a mind-bending melodrama all in one, masterfully executed, intelligently plotted, and satisfying all the way to the end. If you've seen Evangelion, then you MUST see this as well. |
