Seven Seas Licenses Choking On Love Manga Series

(September 11, 2024) Seven Seas Entertainment is pleased to announce the license acquisition of the manga series Choking on Love by Keiko Iwashita. Opposites attract in this shojo romance manga about a career-focused artist and the bad-boy guitarist who turns her world upside down!

Hibari, a single-minded art student with dreams of becoming a graphic designer, feels insecure about being "ordinary" compared to her peers. Gaku, a free-spirited guitarist from the same university, turns her world upside down after a chaotic encounter at a ramen shop. Hibari wants nothing more than to escape the disorder Gaku brings to her perfectly planned life. But as he slowly breaks down her walls, Hibari starts to realize that a little chaos might be just what she needs.

Choking on Love Vol. 1 will be released in the English language in February 2025 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN, with the series available in single volume editions. Ebook editions will also be available on digital platforms.
