J-pop artist Aina The End's new song ‘Heart to Heart’ will be released on streaming sites worldwide on Thursday, September 12, 2024. This deeply lyrical killer tune features unpredictable twists and turns, with a chorus boasting powerful vocals and sharp guitars perfectly crafted to boost your confidence.

As you'd expect from Aina The End, the lyrics are filled with expressive meaning, translating roughly as “I'm afraid to spend the night alone, but I'll accept that fact and move on,” followed by the line, “That's why every day I marry the night”.

Aina The End profile

Aina The End began her music career in 2015 as a member of the instrument-free punk band BiSH, who made their major-label debut the following year. In 2021 she took her first steps as a solo artist with the release of her first album ‘THE END’, for which she composed all of the music and lyrics herself. When BiSH tragically disbanded in June 2023, Aina The End threw herself into her solo career.

In January 2024, she wrote the theme song ‘Takaramono’ for the TBS Sunday Theater drama 'Sayonara, Maestro!', while her song ‘Frail’ was used as the theme song for the movie ‘The Strange House’ released in March. In July she soundtracked her first animated feature film, ‘Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain’, providing the theme song ‘Love Sick’.

Aina The End has also found success as an actress. In 2022, she played the lead role of Janis Joplin in the first ever Japanese adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘A Night with Janis Joplin’. And in October 2023, she made her film debut as the lead in the movie ‘Kyrie’, directed by Shunji Iwai, for which she won numerous prestigious awards, including the Newcomer of the Year Award at the 47th Japan Academy Awards and the Best Newcomer Award at the 48th Hochi Film Awards.

Tickets for her solo tour Grow The Sunset held in March of this year sold out on the day they went on sale, and her first performance at the Nippon Budokan, titled ENDROLL and scheduled for September 11, 2024, has also sold out. Her third solo album – her first full-length release in three years – is due out on November 27.
