NEW YORK, NY (July 19, 2024) – Milan Records today announces the first-ever vinyl release for the Original Soundtrack to the hit anime series DEVILMAN crybaby by composer KENSUKE USHIO. Available for preorder now, the album features music by Ushio written for director Masaaki Yuasa's action-fantasy anime series, which made its worldwide streaming debut in 2018 on Netflix. Pressed on red-and-black blended vinyl, the two-disc edition arrives in a gatefold jacket featuring imagery from the anime. Winning Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, DEVILMAN crybaby is available to stream now on Netflixwatch here.

ABOUT KENSUKE USHIO

kensuke ushio started his solo career in 2007 under “agraph”. and creates electronic music. His debut album A Day, Phases which was released in December 2008. Two years later his second album Equal was released which ranked in the Japanese Albums Charts. In 2011 Ushio and some former musicians of bands like SUPERCAR and Number Girl formed a rock band called Lama. The band released two albums which both ranked on the official Albums Charts of Japan. Ushio works as composer of film music as well. He worked on music for animation TV series, music in advertising and movies such as: A Silent Voice, DEVILMAN crybaby, Space Dandy, Liz and the Blue Bird, Japan Sinks: 2020, The Heike Story and Chainsaw Man.
