Pacific Media Expo 2013 Announces Cosplay Special Events
LOS ANGELES, CA -- For its 10th year, Pacific Media Expo (PMX) expands its cosplay program to now offer in addition to Masquerade, Iron Cosplay, Cosplay Gatherings, and the popular Kigurumi Pajama Party, the new Cosplay, Etc, Hall Cosplay, and Cosplay Lounge.
PMX Masquerade is the annual costume contest where attendees see an extravaganza of amazing costumes, great skits, and special performances. Join emcee Danny “Dboy” Gonzales as he guides us through the show and introduces the official halftime performers, Angel Hearts and Takeriya Samurai Mikarin and Hagi. PMX Masquerade will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 7:30 PM. The online pre-registration deadline is November 5th so be sure to submit your entries before then. At-con registration is available on Friday 12 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 12 PM.
Join us for the 2nd annual Iron Cosplay, the costume version of Project Runway! Gather your friends and test your creative and construction skills as we we give you the materials and the time frame. The winner takes home PMX 2014 complimentary badges and $100 in cash. Space is limited so be sure to sign up soon!
PMX 2013 will also host several Cosplay Gatherings throughout the weekend. Attendees can plan their own gathering for their favorite series, or find an existing gathering to join up with. Join us on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, from 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM for pictures, games, and lots of fun. All attendees are welcome and Kigurumi/hoodies not mandatory but extremely encouraged!
