Wasabi Anime to Host Anime Track of Events for Ancient City Con IV
Anime, cosplay and manga fans will get a "taste of Wasabi" in Jacksonville, Florida!
Jacksonville, Florida, February 8, 2010 – Wasabi Anime will be making their first appearance in Jacksonville, Florida since 2004 at this year's Ancient City Con, July 10th-11th, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.
The team from Wasabi Anime will be hosting contests, cosplay, panels and viewings for local anime and manga fans attending the popular convention which is now in its fourth year. Specific event announcements and times are expected to be announced on the Wasabi Anime website as soon as March, 2010.
"Ancient City Con is one of those conventions that has managed to thrive in a major city while still keeping that small town feel," says Tom Croom, the founder of Wasabi Anime. "I think the event is wonderful not just because of that atmosphere it creates, but also because it offers a little something for everyone in so many different fandoms. We're extremely excited to be on board to help them expand their anime programming this year."
Tickets for Ancient City Con are available in advance (on their website). An adult attendee day badge is $20. One day and child passes are also available.
