Notably, the festival will play host to Guests of Honor Yoshiyuki Tomino, whose genre-breaking series, Mobile Suit Gundam, premiered in 1979 and Yui Makino, the noted voice actress and singer. “Anime culture is enormously popular and we want our show to reflect the full range and diversity of anime talent and creativity at work today,” notes Lance Fensterman, Show Manager for NYAF. “We are very pleased to be able to provide such quality programming for the thousands of fans who attend our event.”
