Urban Vision Reprices Ninja Scroll Box Set

URBAN VISION ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES PRICE REDUCTION ON NINJA SCROLL BOX SET

Los Angeles, CA, July 15, 2005— Urban Vision Entertainment has announced that commencing in the month of July, retailers everywhere will be reducing the price of its latest release, NINJA SCROLL: THE SERIES ULTIMATE COLLECTION. As the series was originally released across three individual DVD volumes, the ULTIMATE COLLECTION combines the entire series of thirteen episodes in to one complete set along with a fourth bonus disc of special features exclusive to the collection. A separate version comes packaged in a limited edition tin with action figure attached, and is limited to 20,000 pieces. In July, the original MSRP for the standard edition of the ULTIMATE COLLECTION will be lowered from $59.95 to $44.95; for the limited version, from $69.95 to $54.95.

"With this price reduction, we hope to encourage even more fans who have never purchased the series or those who wish to re-purchase it for the great bundle of extras to do so. Staying attuned to the sensitivities of the anime market is very important to Urban Vision, and we want to keep pace by delivering more to fans at a price they can afford," says Urban Vision Sales Director, Gabriel Vicuna. The new price delivers the box set to fans at an MSRP that is less than two of the individual volumes combined, and includes the bonus disc, an exclusive 12-page booklet, and brand new packaging.

NINJA SCROLL: THE SERIES is based upon the classic 1993 film. Created for Japanese television, it was animated by the world-renowned Mad House Animation Studio, and overseen by the film's director, Yoshiaki Kawajiri.
