Animelo Summer Live Gets Manila Spinoff Event

Philippine concert organizer Wilbros Live announced on Wednesday that Dwango and Nippon Cultural Broadcasting's Animelo Summer Live (also known as Anisama) will have a Manila-based spinoff event. The announcement did not reveal venue details, dates, or performers.

Anisama is an annual music festival that gathers numerous performers to perform anime theme songs, anime-related songs, and otaku culture-related songs. The event has been running every year since 2005, except for 2020, when the event was canceled due to COVID-19. The event usually runs in August, except for its first three iterations when it ran in July.

The event previously held a spinoff event in Shanghai in 2011.
