posted on by Adriana Hazra

Servamp premiered on AT-X in Japan in July 2016. Muse Asia streamed the anime as a daily upload on YouTube in September 2020 and describes the series:
Mahiru Shirota dislikes difficult things, preferring to live a simple life. But after rescuing a cat he names Kuro, life takes a turn for the complex. Kuro turns out to be a servamp—a servant vampire, named Sleepy Ash and the two form a contract. Kissing his simple life goodbye, Mahiru is pulled into the world of vampires, the seven deadly Servamps, and war. Life couldn't be more complicated!
The production reunited the main staff and studio of the Aoharu x Machinegun anime. Itto Sara, who served in a supervisory position in Aoharu x Machinegun, served as chief director for this anime. Hideaki Nakano directed the anime at Brains Base. Kenji Konuta was in charge of series composition, and Junko Yamanaka designed the characters for animation.
Tanaka launched the manga series in Monthly Comic Gene in 2011. The finale of the manga released on December 13. Kadokawa published the manga's 24th and final compiled book volume on December 27.
The manga inspired an anime film that premiered in April 2018.
