Muse Asia's official YouTube channel started streaming the television anime of Strike Tanaka's Servamp manga on Tuesday. The channel will stream a new episode daily at 5:30 p.m. IST.
Alongside India, Muse Asia is streaming the anime in Bangladesh, Brunei, Bhutan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Servamp premiered on AT-X in Japan on July 2016. Muse Asia describes the series:
Mahiru Shirota dislikes difficult things, preferring to live a simple life. But after rescuing a cat he names Kuro, life takes a turn for the complex. Kuro turns out to be a servamp—a servant vampire, named Sleepy Ash and the two form a contract. Kissing his simple life goodbye, Mahiru is pulled into the world of vampires, the seven deadly Servamps, and war. Life couldn't be more complicated!
The production reunited the main staff and studio of the Aoharu x Machinegun anime. Itto Sara, who served in a supervisory position in Aoharu x Machinegun, served as chief director for this anime. Hideaki Nakano directed the anime at Brains Base. Kenji Konuta was in charge of series composition, and Junko Yamanaka designed the characters for animation.
Tanaka launched the manga series in Monthly Comic Gene in 2011, and Kadokawa published the manga's 15th compiled book volume on March 27. Seven Seas is releasing the manga in English and published the 13th compiled book volume on November 26.
The manga inspired an anime film that premiered in April 2018.
