MVM Announces Release Dates for First 2025 Releases

The release dates for MVM's first releases in 2025 are now listed on the distributor's MVM-films website, as follows:

January 27 2025: Baki (pictured right) - This is the Netflix version of the deathmatch series, based on the manga by Keisuke Itagaki. The Netflix version began in 2016.

February 10 2025: Made in Abyss Season 2 (pictured left( - This is the season broadcast in 2022, subtitled The Golden City of the Scorching Sun.

February 24 2025: The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy Season 1 - The 2023 anime based on the fantasy light novel series by Yū Shimizu.

March 10 2025: Drifting Dragons Season 1 - Polygon Pictures' 2020 anime version of the fantasy manga by Taku Kuwabara.

March 25 2025: A standard Blu-ray edition of the 2004 girl-fighting series Tenjho Tenge, which MVM has already released as a Collector's Blu-ray Edition.

MVM previously announced that its first 2025 releases would include Dark Gathering Season 1, adapted from the supernatural manga by Kenichi Kondō, but its release date has not been confirmed as of writing.
