Yen Press has announced in a press release that it is entering into a global partnership with Hachette UK, and also with Hachette India and Hachette Australia, which will handle sales and distribution outside North America.

From December 16, the press release says, the services for Yen Press will "go live" through Hachette UK. (Yen Press's partnership with Hachette India will go live from February 3 2025, and the Hachette Australia partnership will start from April 1 2025.)

Russell Evans, Business Development Director at Hachette, says, “We already have the pleasure of working with Yen Press at Hachette Book Group US, so the inclusion of these additional territories makes this a truly global partnership.”

Kurt Hassler, Publisher and Managing Director of Yen Press, says, “Yen Press began as an imprint under HBGUS and has benefited significantly from their exceptional sales and distribution services since transitioning to a client services relationship. We are thrilled to be expanding this partnership working with Hachette UK, India, and Australia & New Zealand and look forward to increasing the availability of manga, light novels, and manhwa at a global level together.”
