Pokémon GO Game Launches in Hindi

Niantic announced on Saturday that it's Pokémon GO app is now available in Hindi. The company is also hosting a month-long in-game event for Indian players with features such as Field Research, Timed Research, and Bonuses with special rewards.

The game has restructured the pricing for coin bundles on Google Play and on Apple Stores. The application is offering an exclusive coin bonus for the Pokémon GO Web Store for Indian users.

The Pokémon Company has launched its Pokédex webpage in Hindi having renamed over 800 Pokémon. Niantic has also launched a Hindi landing page for the Pokémon GO game.

The Pokémon Asia Official YouTube channels began streaming “The Journey of One Dream” animated short film in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali on their respective regional language channels.

Pokémon GO hosted the Indian qualifiers for the game's 2022 World Championship in May 2022. It hosted its 2023 qualifiers from April 15 to 16, from May 20 to 21, and on June 3. It had its regional playoffs on June 4.
