Attack on Titan TACTICS Smartphone Game Launches in U.S., Canada, Australia

DeNA released KAYAC's Attack on Titan TACTICS tactical role-playing smartphone game for iOS and Android devices in English in the United States, Canada, and Australia on Thursday. Crunchyroll began streaming a launch trailer for the game.
DeNA released the game in Japan in April. The company originally announced the game in September for release this past winter.
The free-to-play game based on the Attack on Titan anime features the voice cast of the anime with original recordings. In the tower defense game, players use weapons and set traps to defend the city and combat Titans. Players can choose from more than 38 characters with unique roles, abilities, and skills to make teams. The smartphone game also features all-new scenarios, alternate stories, and "exclusive interact chats."
Mobage released the first Shingeki no Kyojn (Attack on Titan) smartphone game in 2012. The Shingeki no Kyojin -Hangeki no Tsubasa- (Attack on Titan: The Wings of Counterattack) smartphone game launched on the GREE mobile platform in 2013. The Shingeki no Kyoujin -Jiyū he no Hōkō- (Attack on Titan -Call for Freedom-) smartphone game then launched through Mobage in 2014.
