Sound & Fury Anime Film Debuts on Netflix Worldwide This Fall (Update)

Update: Sound & Fury began streaming on Netflix on September 27.
Netflix revealed at Comic-Con International: San Diego on Saturday that it will stream the previously listed Sound & Fury anime film worldwide this fall.

The film is set to Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson's forthcoming album, also titled Sound & Fury. The anime film will include a different anime segment for each song. The film is also based on a story by Simpson.
Junpei Mizusaki (Batman Ninja) is writing and directing the film. The film will feature character designs by Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai). The main episode directors from Kamikaze Douga include Takanobu Mizuno, Elsa Nakamichi, Hajime Sasaki, and Shinji Takagi. STU Inc. is in charge of the animation.
Guest directors include: Masaru Matsumoto of Grayscale Arts (Starship Troopers: Traitors of Mars), Michael Arias (Tekkonkinkreet, Harmony), Henry Thurlow and Arthell Isom of D'Art Shtajio, and Kōji Morimoto (Magnetic Rose) are also serving as directors on the project. Shunsuke Ochiai is co-executive producer.
