Some Japanese retailers are listing the cover for the April issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine, which reveals that a television anime adaptation of Quro's Koisuru Asteroid (Asteroid in Love) manga has been green-lit.
The manga centers on Mira, who a girl who dream of joining the astronomy club once she got into high school, after meeting a man and promising to discover new asteroids when she was younger. But the high school she got into had abolished its astronomy club the year before she enrolled, and it has now been combined with the earth sciences club.
Quro launched the manga in Manga Time Kirara Carat in January 2017. Houbunsha published the manga's first compiled book volume last March.
Houbunsha announced in December that the magazine will feature "important announcements" in the next three issues, starting with the March issue. The March issue revealed in January that Izumo Ito's Machikado Mazoku (Street Corner Demon) manga is receiving a television anime.
