New Danganronpa V3 Game's Trailer Explains 'Class Trials'
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Spike Chunsoft began streaming a trailer for its New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki (New Danganronpa V3: Everyone's New Semester of Killing) PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game on Wednesday. The video explains the series' "class trial" scenes, which works as it has in previous games. If students successfully figure out the murder culprit, then the culprit alone is executed. However, if they are wrong, then only the culprit remains alive as the rest are executed.
The game will ship in Japan on January 12. A limited edition will be available on that day with the brand-new original anime Super Danganronpa 2.5 Kamaeda Nagito to Sekai no Hakaisha (Super Danganronpa 2.5: Nagito Komaeda and the Destroyer of the World) on Blu-ray Disc. The game's limited edition will also include a Monokuma plushie strap, character profile and design book, a 2017 calendar, a soundtrack and cast comment CD, and a card with a code to download an original custom theme.
The regular PS Vita edition will cost 6,400 yen (about US$54), while the limited PS Vita edition will cost 12,400 yen (US$105). The regular PS4 edition will cost 7,400 yen (US$63), and the limited PS4 edition will cost 13,400 yen (US$114).
NISA will release the game in North America and Europe physically and digitally for the PS4 and PS Vita, and will also release a limited edition version of the game for the PS4. The limited edition, which is only available on NISA's online store, includes a "limited edition deluxe soundtrack," the original soundtrack for the game itself, a hardcover art book, a hat, a backpack, headphones, and a collector's box. NISA will release the game in 2017.
NISA describes the game:

Set in a “psycho-cool” environment, a new cast of 16 characters find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Inside, some will kill, some will die, and some will be punished.
