Rock Band Breakerz Performs New Detective Conan Opening Theme

The BREAKERZ rock band announced on Friday that they will perform a new opening theme song for the Detective Conan television anime series titled "Ikusen no Meikyū de Ikusen no Nazo wo Toite" (In Thousands of Mazes, Solve Thousands of Mysteries). The new theme song will debut with the episode that will premiere on January 7. The single for the song will ship on January 18.
The official YouTube channel for the band additionally posted a short "Who is CONAN?" video clip on Friday featuring the theme song. The clip also features a man dressed as the titular Conan, and asks in text who is the real person behind the costume. (Note: the linked video is region locked and can't be viewed in Australia, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States).
The band has also set up a "Who is CONAN?" project website.
BREAKERZ previously performed the opening theme songs "Everlasting Luv," "Miss Mystery," and "WE GO" for the anime series, as well as the "Hikari," "Tsukiyo no Itazura no Mahō," and "Overwrite" ending theme songs for the series. BREAKERZ also performed an opening theme song for the Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Gears Crisis-hen anime series.
B'z is performing the current opening theme song "Sekai wa Anata no Iro ni Naru" for the Detective Conan anime. Crunchyroll is streaming new episodes of the series in various countries as they air in Japan.
The 21st film in the anime franchise, Meitantei Conan Kara Kure-nai no Love Letter (Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter), will open in Japan on April 15.
