The first 2017 issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd announced on Tuesday that Pupa manga creator Sayaka Mogi's Nemureru Mori no Charon (Sleeping Charon) manga will end in the magazine's next issue on January 6.
The story of the "sweetie-horror" manga begins when an unnamed character without memories gets lost and arrives at a mansion. There he meets Charon, a naive girl who has a secret. Mogi launched the manga in September 2014, and Kodansha published the manga's second volume in July.
Mogi launched the Oni Kui Shōjo to Tsuki Fukurō manga in Kodansha's ITAN magazine's 35th issue, which shipped on Wednesday. The new "Japanese-style fantasy" series centers on two mountain demon brothers who have different mothers, and are persecuted by other mountain demons.
Mogi launched her horror manga Pupa in the inaugural issue of Comic Earth Star magazine in 2011, and ended it in December 2013. Earth Star Entertainment published five volumes for the manga. The manga inspired a 12-episode series of television anime shorts that premiered in January 2014.
Mogi ended her Switch Witch manga on July 26, and her Ao no Haha manga on May 25.
