Gempak Starz Licenses Fumi Itō's Kerana Akiba, Jepun Dicintai! Manga

Essay manga book about Akihabara neighborhood in Tokyo ships this month
Malaysian publisher Gempak Starz announced on Thursday that it has licensed Fumi Itō's Kerana Akiba, Jepun Dicintai! (Nihon ga Aisareru Wake o Akiba de Mitsukemashita or I Found the Reason Japan is Loved in Akiba) essay manga. The company will release the manga this month.
Gempak Starz describes the manga:
Akihabara, the holy land of electronics geeks and otaku, and even now is a preeminent spot for tourists, as foreigners who love Japan gather in the neighborhood. Mitsuba is traveling with a group of tourists, and in the spirit of "omotenashi," Mitsuba and his friend Korone guide the tourists across various locations in "Akiba" to discover things that even Japanese people mostly don't know.
Kadokawa published the essay manga book on February 19 in partnership with the Akihabara Tourism Promotion Association.
