Square Enix confirmed on Thursday that it will release Dragon Quest Heroes II (Dragon Quest Heroes II: Futago no Ō to Yogen no Owari) in North America on April 25 and in Europe on April 28. The game will only be available on PlayStation 4 and Steam.
The game shipped for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on May 27 in Japan.
The game adds Torneko (Dragon Quest IV), Meena/Minea (Dragon Quest IV), Carver/Hassan (Dragon Quest VI), Gabo (Dragon Quest VII), Maribel (Dragon Quest VII), and Angelo/Kukuru (Dragon Quest VIII) as playable characters. The new characters join returning characters Alena (Dragon Quest IV), Kiryl/Kurifuto (Dragon Quest IV), Maya/Manya (Dragon Quest IV), Terry (Dragon Quest VI), and Jessica (Dragon Quest VIII).
Square Enix released Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below in Japan in February 2015 for the PS3 and PS4. Square Enix then released the game in North America and Europe last October.
