Southeast Asian channel Animax Asia announced during its Animax Carnival 2016 event in Manila on Sunday that it will premiere the Hello!! KINMOZA and Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! anime in November, and the My Love Story!! anime in December.
Hello!! KINMOZA is the second anime season adapting Yui Hara's Kin-iro Mosaic manga. The manga begins with Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly "pure Japanese" girl who did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas. One day, an air mail letter arrives from Alice, the girl from Shinobu's host family in Great Britain. The letter reads, "Shinobu, I'm coming to Japan!" The "Japanese/British girls' light comedy" follows the lives of Shinobu, Alice, and other girls from both Japan and Great Britain.
The first television anime, Kin-iro Mosaic (Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic), aired in 2013, and the second television anime aired in April 2015.
The main staff from the first season returned for the second. Motoki Tanaka (Tensho) returned to direct the series at Studio Gokumi with assistant director Munenori Nawa. Kazuyuki Ueda designed the characters, and Yuniko Ayana was in charge of the series scripts.
In Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, the high school "Earth Defense Club" is basically the "do nothing club." Club members En and Atsushi are soaking in the bathtub at a public bath when suddenly a mysterious pink creature, Wombat, appears out of thin air and asks, "I want to save this star... please would you lend me your power?" Then, Yumoto, whose family runs the bath house, appears and chases Wombat to give him a hug.
In school the next day, the remaining two members, Io and Ryū, also meet Wombat. Wombat gives all five of them bracelets and tells them to protect Earth. A dazzling light comes from the bracelets and envelops their bodies...
The series premiered in January 2015. A second season titled Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! premiered on July 7.
Shinji Takamatsu directed the series at diomedéa. Kurari Umadani is credited as the original creator. Michiko Yokote supervised the series' scripts. Masakazu Ishikawa drew the character designs. Masatoshi Muto directed the background art. Yasuyuki Itou was director of photography.
My Love Story!! centers on Takeo Gōda, a tall and large high school student whom every girl in school assumes to be tough, but in truth has a gentle heart. He's best friends with Makoto Sunakawa, a handsome boy whom every girl in school loves. While Takeo's used to supporting his best friend, he one day saves Rinko Yamato, and his usually unchanging love life starts to become a lot more active.
Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, Aoi Bungaku Series' No Longer Human, NANA, Card Captor Sakura) directed the anime at the Studio Madhouse (Parasyte, Hunter x Hunter, Summer Wars, Paprika). Natsuko Takahashi (Brothers Conflict, Nobunaga Concerto, Akatsuki no Yona, Yōkai Watch) was in charge of the series scripts, and Kunihiko Hamada (Chihayafuru, NANA, Monster, Summer Wars) designed the characters.
The anime premiered in April 2015, and is based on the manga of the same name by Kazune Kawahara and Aruko. The manga ended on July 13. A live-action film starring Ryōhei Suzuki and Mei Nagano opened in October 2015.
